The constituency of Vale of Clwyd was created in 1997. It was held by Labour until 2015 when Conservative James Davies took the seat.
He won by just 237 votes in what was seen as a key Conservative gain.
Chris Ruane took the seat back for Labour in the 2017 election. His majority was 2,379. Mr Davies is hoping to regain the seat this election.
