The Voice fans were floored on Saturday as they learnt judge Will.i.am's real age.

The Black Eyed Peas star revealed how old he was after Cedric Neal's incredible audition, which saw Will turn around alongside all of his fellow judges: Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Olly Murs.

After musical theatre performer Cedric announced that he was 43 years old, Will interrupted that he was the same in age, in a bid to win his alliance.

However, viewers at home could not believe the Scream & Shout singer's "impossible" confession, rushing to social media to express their surprise.

Will.i.am is actually aged 43

"Hmm was actually most SHOOK to find out will.i.am is 43!? #funfact #impossible #thevoice," one viewer wrote, in disbelief.

Meanwhile, another agreed, writing: "Neither Will nor this guy look 43 #thevoice".

Despite fans of the show being unconvinced Will is as old as he says, he was born on 15 March 1975, meaning he was indeed telling the truth.

Unfortunately for Will, even sharing the same age as Cedric wasn't enough to deter him from picking legend Sir Tom as his mentor instead.
Will.i.am confessed his age when speaking to contestant Cedric Neal

Will's age confession wasn't the only shocker of the show, as contestant Grace Latchford also made history as she broke a record after getting through to the next round in the competition.

The 17-year-old blew the judges away with her voice, as she she performed an original song which she had written herself.

However, the excitement didn't stop there, as on top of making it to the next round, host Emma Willis then told the teenager that she was the first star to get through the auditions round with her own song.
