A transgender woman lashed out at police who "didn't use the proper pronouns' to address her.
Charlotte Blundell has racked up a string of fresh convictions to add to the criminal record she started under her old name, Justin.
As Justin, the 26-year-old was jailed for dousing her ex in bleach and trying to torch him.
Charlotte appeared at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court where she was spared another stint behind bars after she admitted attempted criminal damage of a police vehicle, failing to surrender and two counts of harassment after breaching a restraining order.
Blundell admits she lost the plot when police arrested her - but claims that's because "they didn't use the proper pronouns".
"They didn't use words like she, or her - they were saying 'he' or 'Justin'," claimed Blundell of Wallsend.
"The cop said 'you are dressed like a man - so you will be arrested like a man."
The Wallsend yob appeared via video link in court on June 25.
Dressed in a green t-shirt and with short, shaved hair, the defendant answered charges put to her as both Charlotte and Justin.
When asked why she wasn't dressed as Charlotte, she claimed somebody "burned" her wig and clothes as she slept.
The court heard she has such an extensive criminal record that, over her two accounts, she owes "just short of £1,900" in court fees and fines with her financial circumstances branded "dire".
But Blundell - who has a history of violence - has refused to say sorry despite admitting to kicking off when she was taken away in cuffs.
"In my opinion, they got everything they deserved," she claimed after being released from HMP Durham.
"They have the flags on the side of their cars, and claim they are LGBTQ+ friendly - but they were basically calling me a man.
"I don't think the way they spoke to me was adequate."
Northumbria Police declined to comment on claims made by Blundell, who says she is in the process of transitioning.
In mitigation, it was claimed Blundell had "heightened vulnerability due to his background".
It was also claimed alcohol was a "trigger" for her offending.
The "frenzied" bleach incident, for which Justin was jailed, was fuelled by alcohol and resulted in Blundell's boyfriend being stabbed eight times with a screwdriver.
However, speaking after the case she said: "I've calmed down a lot since then.
"I was drinking a lot and doing drugs - I don't do any of that now."
Magistrates sentenced Blundell to an 18-month community order. Part of that will address her drinking.
The defendant, previously of Crawley Road, must also pay an £85 charge.
