Vile couple force disabled woman, 29, to work as a £160-an-hour sex slave in their shed

A VILE couple forced a severely disabled woman to work as £160-an-hour a sex slave - and made her live in their shed.

Twisted Michael Welch, 40, and Misty George, 32, hired out the mentally and physically impaired woman as a prostitute to perverted punters found online.

At least one man paid twice to have sex with the 29-year-old victim, court files said.

Welch is now starting a jail sentence of up to 20 years - while George got off with probation after giving evidence against him.

The victim met Welch and his girlfriend when she rented a room in their mobile home in Macomb near Detroit, Michigan.

But the sick pair forced her to live in their white shed when she fell behind with payments.

NO TOILET OR SHOWER

"The victim was not allowed in the home to use the restroom or shower,” sheriff's officials said.

"The suspects set up date advertisements for the victim through an online website.

"Several men responded to these advertisements and paid money to the suspects for sexual services from the victim.”

The woman said she had sex at a man’s home and at a hotel.

FOUND SICK PUNTERS ONLINE

Welch and George, who used the Craigslist site to find punters, were rumbled when the victim escaped and revealed her ordeal to relatives.

The couple, who have a four-year-old daughter, were arrested in October 2017 and charged with prostitution and human trafficking.

Shocked neighbour Tracy Byers said at the time there were no sign about what was going on.

“To find out that she was keeping somebody in a shed, how does somebody not know? I don't understand it,” she told WXYZ.

Other neighbours said George herself had special needs and Welch lived off her disability payments.

He was jailed last week for five to 20 years after pleading guilty to human trafficking and accepting earnings from prostitution.

Co-conspirator George was let off with five years probation after pleading no contest to human trafficking and agreeing to testify against Welch.

She must go to sex offender meetings, have random drug tests and attend a course for domestic violence offenders.
