Britain's Got Talent is back this evening, with a fresh bunch of hopefuls looking to wow judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

One act the fans have been given a look at ahead of the show is young Souparnika Nair (Sou), who reckons her vocal chops are enough to send her soaring through the auditions stage.

But BGT won't be her first telly appearance - having stolen the show on another series just months ago.

The show in question is BBC's Michael McIntyre's Big Show.

Sou was Michael's Unexpected Star of the Show, which is a weekly segment - and in this case, he took on the disguise of Kenny McDougall.

Kenny was a children's career advisor, helping the youngster - who would soon turn 10 - decide between being a singer, doctor, scientist or dancer.

"Are you Scottish?" Sou asked, "I love your accent!"

After he'd unmasked himself, Michael invited her to the London Palladium to sing for the audience - making her the youngest ever Unexpected Star of the Show.

She belted out I Dreamed a Dream from the musical Les Miserables and had the audience on their feet with applause.

Sou's parents came up on stage, both in tears.

"Mum's lost it," Michael laughed, "But I don't blame you."

He added to Sou: "How does it feel to sing in front of all these people?"

"It's a dream come true!" Sou gushed.

She's now hoping to echo this success and more in front of the judges on BGT.
