If you like your early evening telly viewing and hate when it's changed around - we have bad news for you.
Viewers were instead treated or subjected too - depending which side you're on - to an episode of Cash Trapped which is also fronted by TV favourite Bradley Walsh.
Some even said their 'evening had been ruined' by the schedule change.
But fans need not worry as there is good news.
According to chaser Anne Hegarty, Cash Trapped is only on for five weeks and not only will The Chase be back, there will also be TWO Christmas specials.
The Chase team know how to treat us.
And fans of the quiz show won't have to go too long without their Chase fix as this Saturday, November 16, ITV will air an I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here celebrity edition ahead of the brand new series which starts on the channel on Sunday.
Cash Trapped last aired in 2017 so people are a little confused as to the concept.
The game show sees six contestants go head to head by answering various questions in four different rounds until one of them "escapes" during the final stage.
When the show does return, there will be a new chaser added to the mix.
Host Bradley let slip during a phone-in chat on Good Morning Britain on Monday that a new quiz brain will be joining The Vixen, The Governess, The Sinnerman, The Dark Destroyer and The Beast.
When asked by GMB host Piers Morgan why the show is so popular, the 59-year-old said: "It's accessible, people love it, it's ten years old now.
"What can you say? We've got a brand new chaser coming in for another new series now. It's all good."
You can watch The Chase I'm A Celebrity special on Saturday at 6.15pm on ITV.
