A teenager has died in a horror car crash which left six others injured.

The 19-year-old woman was a passenger in a Seat Leon which crashed into a parked car on Pelsall Lane in Rushall, near Birmingham, just after 9pm on Friday.

Three other men in the car, aged between 19 and 21, were all taken to hospital.

The driver remains in a serious but stable condition, and the other two have been discharged.

A couple in the parked car were also taken to hospital with serious injuries, and remain there in a stable condition.

Their nine-year-old daughter was also taken to hospital, but has been discharged.

Photographs taken by Charlie Eggenton show the road closed off with multiple police cars and fire crews at the scene.

The Rushall resident told BlackCountryLive it was the third crash on the road within 12 months.

Police say they have spoken to several witnesses and urge anyone with information to contact them.
