Hell in a Cell has kicked off with one of the main matches on the show being Lynch against Charlotte for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
The feud has split fans right down the middle, with some backing the daughter of Hall of Fame legend Ric Flair and others supporting the spunky Lasskicker.
Lynch has been portrayed as the villain, but fans have been getting behind her anyway after she turned on Charlotte at SummerSlam.
Hell in a Cell fans claimed security at the arena has been confiscating signs supporting Lynch.
It is unconfirmed why the signs may have been taken away – but WWE fans have been left fuming and crying conspiracy.
“Security doesn’t want us to 'Boo the Woo'”WWE fan
The Lynch fan wrote: “Security doesn’t want us to 'Boo the Woo'.”
She posted a picture of a stack of white signs – with the one on top reading “Boo the Woo”.
The slogan is a reference to the Flair family catchphrase of shouting “woo”.
WWE fans who saw the tweet were left fuming – blasting security as “rude”.
WWE fans famously take signs to the arena carrying amusing or provocative slogans and catchphrases.
The practice has been on the wane in recent years however – with their numbers becoming less as people focus on using their smartphones to take photos.
Some fans however bring huge stacks of signs to hand out to others to trigger support for a wrestler they perceive to be under appreciated.
This was made famous be the white and black text “Cesaro Section” signs which filled arenas back in 2014 and 2015.
It is unknown why the Lynch signs might have been confiscated.
One fan wrote “that is a big lame” and another added “they should not be allowed to do that”.
Another claimed: “When I was there for the Royal Rumble they took away our hugger section signs.”
Others claimed it was a conspiracy to boost support for Charlotte.
Lynch and Charlotte’s feud has ignited the women’s division on SmackDown Live.
Both are members of the Four Horsewomen alongside Bayley and Sasha Banks.
The foursome are credited with reinvigorating women’s wrestling after years of neglect in WWE.
Hell in a Cell rolls on tonight – with the main event of Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman with special guest referee Mick Foley.
