The photographs and profile of Mrs. Belinda Afriyie Nimako, the wife of the beleaguered First Atlantic Bank CFO, Mr. Ernest Kwasi Nimako, have been made public.
Numerous individuals were angered by the gentleman’s choice to date a member of the National Service while he was obviously living with an attractive lady.
Her professional profile, as posted by the US Embassy in Ghana, reads:
Belinda Afriyie Nimako is a doctor who has worked in the public sector for nine years. During that time, she has worked in clinical practice, project management, research, teaching undergraduates, and leadership.
She attended Wesley Girls’ High School and the University of Ghana’s School of Medicine.
After finishing first in her Master of Public Health class, she opted to use her knowledge and talents in Ghana’s rural areas, where they were most needed.

Belinda is now the Acting Director of Health Services for South Dayi, where she oversees a 124-person team responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies and programs, as well as the provision of clinical treatment to over 53,000 mostly rural residents.
She helped make a public health program for first-year college students at Ghana’s University of Health and Allied Sciences. Belinda also produced a World Health Organization supplement on severe malaria. She now serves on Ghana’s Food and Drug Authority’s Board.
Belinda thinks that the fellowship will make it easier for her to help improve public health in Ghana and other places.
Belinda Nimako wants to use the leadership skills she learned to improve the health of the people in her region and the community as a whole when she gets back.
She also wants to make friends with people from different backgrounds so that she can teach other young people to value excellence and be socially aware.
Belinda Afriyie Nimako is also a 2015 Ghana Mandela Washington Fellow.
