I tried collaborating with the new artists but they ignored me

Ghanaian highlife legend Kwaisey Pee has disclosed that he tried collaborating with the new artists in the music space but they ignored him.

Speaking in an interview with Elvis Crystal on Rush Hour, the artist disclosed that he sent his songs to these new artists to check them out so they can work together on the songs. However, they turn down his request after a series of failed calls and text messages.

“I send them songs and I tell them to check it out and they give me the impression and motivation thinking it’s going to happen, but the next time when I call them, they don’t pick up, I text them, no reply.”

“If what I brought on the table is not good you can talk to me about it and even suggest ways of making it better,” Kwaisey Pee said. “You know, just like ideas on board. I have sent a lot of songs to more than five artists, and I got the same results from them.”

Kwaisey Pee further added that he is in no competition with any artist; adding that he only collaborates with other artists just for the beauty of music and with no mindset of competing with the artists.

“I don’t compete with anybody to start with. I can even go to Daddy Lumba for a collaboration, I don’t think of competition. When I come to you as an artiste to work with you, I don’t think about competition. It’s all about the music for me,” he said.
