Made In Lagos’ Surpasses ‘Twice As Tall’ On UK Albums Chart

Nigerian musician, Tiwa Savage, has been recognized by Time. This is evident in her album, ‘Celia’, making the list of their top 10 best albums of 2020.

According to their review of the album, Savage’s album is “characterized by an infectious buoyancy (as she) shows off an alluring chemistry with an array of artists, from Sam Smith to Davido to Naira Marley.”

Taking to Twitter, the Afro-pop star appreciates the heavyweight global media organization for recognizing her hard work and efforts in creating the album.

Part of her write-up reads:

“I doubted many things but one thing I knew for sure was what a beautiful body of work myself and everyone involved created. We created MAGIC. Luke 4 16-30 ‘Only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honour’”
