A Leading Member of the Governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Team, Dennis Edward Miracles Aboagye is widely acclaimed by some for his Communication Prowess.

He’s been commended by some, in and out of his party on how eloquently he presents and argues with facts and figures in the media in Defence of his party and government’s achievements. His admirers credit him for contributing to raising the image and brand of his party.

Some notable figures like Good Evening Ghana Host, Paul Adom Otchere, Member of Parliament for Akyem Swedru, Hon Kennedy Osei Nyarko, Philip Osei Bonsu of Accra based Asempa FM, Nana Yaw Kesseh of Peace FM amongst others have all commended him.

A Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Akuapem North, Dennis is currently the Director of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development at the Office of the President.

He was also recently appointed Executive Secretary of the Inter Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralization, chaired by the President, and was tipped by some to be NPP National Communications Director which Richard Ahiagbah now occupies.

A Chartered Marketer from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK, he has several years of professional experience and interests in Sales Management, Brand Positioning and Marketing.

He was Former Client Relations Head at Enterprise Trustees Ltd. Before joining the Enterprise Group, Dennis Miracles Aboagye was the Eastern Regional Director of Youth Enterprises and Skills Development Centre (YESDEC), a World Bank-funded project promoting job creation.

Dennis began his student politics at the University of Ghana, Legon, where he held various leadership positions, from Head of Akuafo JCR and member of UG SRC Elections Committee.

He set up the first ever youth wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Akropong Constituency in the Eastern Region, having risen through the ranks of the NPP, from Polling Station Youth Organiser to Polling Station Chairman.

Dennis became Constituency Deputy Youth Organiser, Youth Organiser and then Constituency Campaign Coordinator in 2016 elections in Akuapem North Constituency.

He was also a Political Assistant to the former Member of Parliament of Akuapem North Constituency, Hon. W.O. Boafo.

Born in Larteh Akuapem in Ghana’s Eastern Region, he began his basic education at Larteh Presby Primary and completed at Swedru International School, where he wrote his Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

He entered Okuapemman School in Akropong Akuapem for his Senior high school education, and proceeded to University of Ghana, earning a BA degree in Political Science. He also holds an MBA in Marketing from the Central University Graduate School of Business.

Dennis is married to Mrs. Naana Aboagye and they are blessed with three children, Amaniah, Jennelle-Anne and Jaeryn.
