Post game incidence at the Cam park

Football in our part of the world seems to be retrogressing by the minute. The game between Karela United and Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak yesterday at the Cam Park had lots of incidence the FA must look into.

BetPawa Ghana Premier League Matchday 23 at the Cam Park ended with the Home team winning by 3 goals to nil. A win which will push Karela a little higher out of the relegation zone. The game was officiated by Maale Imgerde.

Team Hearts were delayed several minutes before allowed into the Cam Park. A game of this magnitude did not have a single police officer thus giving free hand to the Karela officials to mishandle and attack management and team officials of Hearts of Oak.

Minutes to the start of the game, the Official HeartsofOak photographer was sacked from the inner perimeter by unknown Karela team officials. This action caused misunderstanding between both teams.

Golden Sports was shocked to see players of Hearts of Oak being attacked during the warm up period. The very actors of our game were not protected and this do not sit well with Ghana Football. The questions we asked was, would Karela United be safe when they play Hearts next season? Is the Ghana Football Association punish Karela for this attitude and incidence?

Information reaching us is HeartsofOak got back to Accra this early morning around 3am and will be sending a petition to the Ghana Football Association to report the various incidence which occurred in Aiyinase. We await for hear the outcome of this report and we shall update our readers accordingly.
