Former Ghana Black Stars midfielder, Agyemang Badu has called for proper preparations for the Black Galaxies ahead of next year’s Championship for Africa Nations.
Ghana is paired in group C alongside defending champions and two time winners Morocco, Sudan and Madagascar for the next tournament in Algeria.
January in Algeria is cold with the winter and Badu, who played in the first edition in Côte D’Ivoire says the Ghana FA must take that into consideration.
“The only thing I want the FA to do is, in January it’s winter time, it’s a bit cold in Algeria.
“So they need to camp somewhere that they can acclimatize with the weather and that will be the key.
The Black Galaxies have missed out on qualifying for three consecutive tournament from 2016, 2018 and the 2020 editions.
Ghana went past Nigeria in a two leg tie to qualify for a tournament they have appeared twice in the finals.
