Video: Youth Cautioned Against Electoral Violence

As part of efforts to ensuring a peaceful nation before, during, and after the 2020 General Elections, Laughter Palace Production has released a short video dubbed: “Believe In Your Thumb Not a Weapon”

The two minutes video cautions Ghanaians especially the youth not to engage in any electoral violence whatsoever.

It also emphasised on the civic responsibility as Ghanaians to only go and cast their votes and never to engage in any activity that could trigger any unstable situation that will jeopardise the peace and tranquillity the country is enjoying.

The video further admonished the youth who could be the target of the call to foment trouble not to allow any politician or group of persons under any circumstance to use them for their parochial interest.

Laughter Palace Production Team in a statement to the media said the video is a blend of entertainment and education for the Ghanaian electorate.

The Production team noted that the only way for Ghana to strive in its socio-economic development is through a peaceful nation.

“Before you think of snatching a ballot box; think about its ramifications.

We have only one country; hence there is the need for us to ensure we have a peaceful election,” the statement concluded.
