This courtesy visit for the new Chargé d'Affaires is part of the exchanges aimed at ensuring better collaboration between the Embassy and the Haitian government entities.

During their talk important issues were evoked. Internal security, border control and socio-economic stability in Haiti were discussed.

The two men also discussed the challenges of strengthening the rule of law, good governance and progress in the fight against banditry...

"I welcome and also welcome back Ambassador Stromayer. He already served in Haiti at the beginning of his career, in the 90s. I am also delighted with the good quality of our frank and cordial meeting !" said Minister Quitel at the end of the visit.
