Appeal after cyclist loses car key along 60km route

Have you seen a car key along the road this morning?

A search is underway to find a lost car key after it fell out of a cyclist’s pocket somewhere in the Letterkenny/Milford/Ramelton area.

The young cyclist was out on a 60km trip on Friday night when he discovered that the one and only key he has to his car fell through a hole in his cycling jersey pocket.

The route he took was: Leaving Killyclug area, through Glencar, Back Road, Conwal, Templedouglas, Kilmacrennan, Milford, Ramelton, up Port Road, High Road, past the Letterkenny University Hospital and back to Killyclug.

Family members have scoured the roads and even cycled the same route in a bid to find the key. They are now hoping that someone picked it up.

If anyone has found the key whilst out walking/cycling this morning or late yesterday evening, please get in touch with Milford Garda Station 0749153060.
