56-y-o security guard shot dead in St James

The police in St James have launched a probe into the shooting death of 56-year-old security guard Oneil Wilson, who was killed at a wholesale in the parish on Thursday. 

It is reported that about 4:20 p.m, Wilson, who was employed to the 'Wagon Wholesale' along Railway Lane in Montego Bay was at work when a man armed with handgun entered the establishment.

The gunman opened fire hitting Wilson before making his escape on foot in the area.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Wilson was discovered lying in blood suffering from gunshot wounds.

The scene was processed and his body was removed to the morgue for post mortem examination.
