Another alleged Spanish Town gangster captured in Cayman

Radio Jamaica News has been informed that another suspect linked to the upsurge in violence in Spanish Town, St Catherine in June, is now in custody in Cayman.

The suspect, who is said to be the leader of the Wildlife Gang based in the area known as 31 St Johns Road, Spanish Town, was captured on Saturday by Caymanian authorities.

He was held along with three other Jamaicans.

Highly placed sources told Radio Jamaica News that the suspect, who goes by the alias "Butler," is wanted for questioning in connection with several murders and shootings in Spanish Town.

Members of the Wildlife Gang were linked to the violence which resulted in a State of Public Emergency being declared in St Catherine in June.

Another alleged co-leader of the gang, Rudolph Shaw, was captured in Cayman on July 8.

He was later deported to Jamaica and has been charged with two counts of murder and wounding with intent.
