Committal hearing for Shab Don set for October 13

A committal hearing and bail application have been set for October 13 for music producer Shab Don, who is charged with three counts of murder.

The producer and his co-accused, Tajay Clarke, were on Monday remanded when they appeared in the St. James Parish Court.

Shab Don, whose given name is Linval Thompson, is represented by Donahue Martin and Tom Tavares-Finson while Mr. Clarke is represented by Khadine Colman.

Mr. Thompson and Mr. Clarke were charged in June following an investigation into a shooting in Rose Heights, St. James.

Two men and a woman were killed on May 25 when gunmen drove into the community and opened fire on residents.

Two others, including a 15-year-old, were injured in the incident.
