By Racquel Porter

Ted Prince, the defendant who urinated in the Home Circuit Court during the One Don Gang trial was this morning found guilty of contempt of court.

Chief Justice Bryan Sykes made the ruling in the Home Circuit Court.

Prince is to be sentenced on April 14.

A social inquiry report has been requested.

On February 28, Prince, who was appearing on screen from one of two courtrooms being used to facilitate the trial, informed the police that he wanted to address the court.

The officer was in the process of relaying the request to Justice Sykes when Prince stepped over the benches towards the back of the courtroom and urinated.

Prince was found guilty of conspiracy to murder in the death of a man near Phil's Hardware during the summation of evidence in the One Don Gang trial.
