Holmwood Technical's Cedricka Williams has broken the first record at the 2023 ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletic Championships at the National Stadium this afternoon
Williams claimed the class one discus record in her preliminary round with an effort of 53.22m, surpassing the 53.02 mark set by Edwin Allen's Fiona Edwards in 2017 to qualify for the final scheduled for 6:56 p.m. tomorrow.
Williams is chasing the class one title in her final season with Holmwood after finishing in seventh place last year.
