Hanover man charged with wife's murder

By Clinton McGregor

Homicide detectives attached to the Hanover Criminal Investigations Branch on Tuesday charged a man for the murder of his wife in early November.

Junior Greyson is accused of killing 35-year-old Judeen Smith Greyson.

The body of Mrs Smith Greyson was found on November 8 with multiple stab wounds at the couple's home in Santoy district, Green Island.

The police say the body had been locked inside the house and there was no sign of forced entry. This prompted them to launch a manhunt for her husband.

Mr. Greyson was captured in Clarendon.

He reportedly told investigators that his wife had been killed after an intruder entered the dwelling and attacked them.

He said he managed to escape.

Mr. Greyson is booked to appear in court next Tuesday.
