No motive established yet for triple murder near Heroes Circle

By Kimone Witter

No motive has been established for Thursday night's killing of a taxi operator and two women on Upper King Street, Kingston.

Their identities have not been released.

Deputy Superintendent Mitchell Campbell, acting commanding officer for the Kingston Central Division, said the women are from the division, while the man is from Portmore, St. Catherine.

DSP Campbell told Radio Jamaica News that about 10:40 p.m., gunshots rang out at the back entrance of the Border Villa community, close to the National Heroes Circle.

When the police arrived, the bodies of the women and taxi operator were found inside a white Honda Civic motor car.

They were reportedly shot by assailants travelling in another vehicle.

DSP Campbell said the police believe the women were transported to the location to get their make-up done for an event.
