The Overseas Examination Council (OEC) is expected to ask for the intervention of police investigators in the probe into the leak of the CSEC Mathematics Paper 2 exam.
Radio Jamaica News has been reliably informed that the OEC, as it deepens the probe into the leak, will be writing to the police to provide specific information gleaned so far.
The OEC launched a probe after it emerged that Jamaica was the source of the leak of the Math paper.
Dr. Wayne Wesley, Registrar for the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), said the leak was pinpointed to one location and that the information was subsequently disseminated across various social media platforms, reaching other Caribbean nations.
CXC has stated that grades for this examination will be awarded using the modified approach which would exclude grades for Paper 2.
