Some public transport operators withdraw service

The commuting public in Kingston & St Andrew, St Catherine, St Mary and St Ann have been affected.

But one group representing PPV operators says its members are not in support of a withdrawal of service as protest action.

Egerton Newman, President of the Transport Operators Development Sustainable Services, told Radio Jamaica News that his group has been in consultation with the government about their grouses and does not believe a withdrawal of service would be the best move at this time.
