The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 53/32.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 2,495.00 points or 0.72 per cent to close at 348,830.07.
The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 2,660.04 points or 0.80 per cent to close at 337,061.22, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 1.42 points or 0.04 per cent to close at 3,750.17.
The JSE USD Equities advanced by 3.43 points or 1.66 per cent to close at 210.20.
