A taxi operator is now dead, and another is in hospital after a gun attack at a gas station at the intersection of Waltham Park and Molynes roads in St Andrew on Tuesday evening.
The identity of the deceased driver has not yet been released.
Reports reaching Loop News are that the men were playing a game of cards at a section of the gas station sometime after 7 pm when several loud explosions sounding like gunshots were heard.
When the shooting subsided, it was discovered that the two men were wounded.
One of the taxi operators was pronounced dead at the hospital, and the other was admitted.
