Vviche makes his debut with ‘Destiny’

Musician Vviche is making his debut as a recording artiste with the single ' Destiny'.

The song, which is produced by respected musician Llamar 'Riff Raff' Brown, speaks about surviving despite the odds that one may face in life.

"The song is inspired by my experiences growing up, setting goals and dealing with setbacks. This allowed me to understand life in general, [it's] not always smooth, and we are not always going up. But it's the persistence and the mental strength to keep going," Vviche said. "The song is absolutely in relation to my experience and has helped me to be a positive human."

Several social issues are mentioned in Destiny and Vviche is passionate about one in particular.

"What mostly concerns me is the support mechanisms individuals don't have to bring their dreams to life. We must encourage our people that once they work hard, they will be given an opportunity to realise those dreams," he reasoned.

Vviche, who plays the keyboard and trumpet, studied at the Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts. He said that his love for music developed as a child, while attending church in his community of Summerfield in Clarendon.

The singer, whose given name is Dalton Atkinson, said that he wants his music to be a positive influence on people.
