Water disruptions expected in May Pen- NWC

The National Water Commission (NWC) says that several communities in and around May Pen in Clarendon are to expect water disruptions.

The disruptions are caused by internal electrical issues at the Sevens and Chatteau Deepwell systems in the parish, NWC confirmed.

The areas to be affected are:

Sevens Estate Ltd, Sevens Road, Sevens Plantation, Effortville, Oliver Gdns.

Warsop Farm, Zion Ave., Leon Ave., Donald Ave., Atkinson Dr., Alexander Ave.,

Mt. Clair, Bryants Crescent, Stewart Ave., Sewell Crescent, Windsor Ave.,

Fosmore Drive, May Pen Town, Chatteau, Hartwell Gardens, and Maryvale meadows.

The NWC says its teams will undertake an assessment of the damaged equipment to determine the earliest timeline for repairs and a restart of water supply distribution.

In the interim, trucked water supply delivery will be undertaken to the areas normally supplied by the system.

Affected customers may also make requests for trucked delivery as necessary via 888-225-5692, the NWC Webchat at nwcjamaica.com or email at customercare@nwc.com.jm
