Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Branch are probing the contract-style killing of a well-known architect and businessman in the Half Way Tree area of St. Andrew on Tuesday evening.
He is 42-year-old Euhon Eden Abbebbe Darling, of Charlton Road, Kingston 8.
It's reported that about 6:35, Mr. Darling was driving his Nissan X Trail SUV along Skibo Avenue when on reaching the intersection with Cargill Avenue, a motorcycle approached with two people aboard.
The pillion opened fire, hitting Mr. Darling in the head.
His vehicle then crashed into a wall.
The shooter then fired more shots into the windscreen of the SUV, hitting Mr. Darling several times in the upper body.
The men escaped on the motorcycle.
