Botho University in Maseru held its fourth graduation ceremony at ‘Manthabiseng Convention Center on Friday 31st April.
During the festivities of the graduation ceremony multiple companies awarded top performing students with gifts. This includes Itumeleng Malelu, class of 2022 top student in the Faculty of Business and Accounting.
“I had no idea that i was a top achiever in my faculty but nonetheless, I am thrilled that my hard work finally paid off,” exclaimed Malelu excitedly.
Advising the alumnus, Malelu said hard work and prayer led her to where she is. “One needs to set their priorities straight and not find themselves swayed easily by peer pressure to the life of partying,” explained Malelu.
Kekeletso Makhetha, a senior officer in Marketing and Communications at Botho University explained that the University first arrived in Lesotho in 2015, and offered courses in only three Faculties; The Faculty of Health and Education, Faculty of Business and Accounting lastly Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
