Exit’s Rockaz Reunion to hit Windhoek in November

Award-winning artist David Shikalepo, better known as ‘Exit’ from Rockaz Entertainment, promises to give his fans and supporters an unforgettable night during his upcoming ‘Rockaz Reunion’ event.

The event is scheduled to take place on 11 November at Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek.

Exit says the event is meant to bring those who have been part of the Rockaz movement since day one and the current generation together.

“It’s a celebration of music and art. We decided to put this together just to appreciate every individual who has ever bought our goods and tickets,” he says.

“It’s best to keep everyone on their toes. We are going to touch on all the albums, from the first one to the last,” he says.

Exit says the stadium gates will open at 11h00 and will stay open till late, and tickets will be available in different price ranges.

“They will start as low as N$30 for the early birds, and each phase will have limited tickets available. The price will increase every two weeks. We’re simply allowing early buyers to pay a lower price,” he says.

“Every child or adult who has been inspired by Exit’s music on a daily basis is most welcome – taxi drivers, pupils, students, lawyers, journalists and doctors. They know where it all started,” he says.

“It will be an unforgettable night for everyone, with many surprises in the line-up. We will take it to the next level this year.”

Having created a name for himself in music over the past two decades, Exit also hosted an exciting event last year in September to celebrate his journey in music at his hometown, Oshakati.

With more than 15 albums under his belt, Exit says during the upcoming event, he will also launch his newest project, an album titled ‘The Flood’.

He says it will leave the nation yearning for more urban Namibian sounds.

“The biggest challenge is overcoming the hurdle I already set for myself,” Exit says.

“There is beauty in this project. It’s going to be a beautiful album,” he says.
