Fahim Saleh, CEO Of GoKada gruesomely murdered in his New York home

Fahim Saleh, Founder of Nigeria’s motorcycle-hailing company, GoKada, has been found dead in his New York home. Members of the New York Police Department (NYPD) found his dismembered body in his condo around 3:30 pm (New York time) on Tuesday according to The New York Post.

Also discovered alongside the dismembered body was an electric saw which police say was used in hacking the body in the pieces they found it.

The 33-year-old tech entrepreneur had bought the condo for  $2.25 million last year following his huge success in creating a motorcycle-sharing company in Lagos. WhileNigerians woke to the sad news, many have taken to Twitter to talk about the entrepreneur, his establishment, and the circumstances surrounding his death.

While the news appeared really disturbing to Nigerians, who shared how Fahim made life easier for Lagosians before his business was shut down by the Lagos State Government, a few Nigerians shared some insights as to what may have led to the killing of the tech entrepreneur.

A few Twitter users pointed out that he may have been entangled with some angry business associates who might have carried out the terrible act, as others have shared that the killing may be racially motivated. They were, however, berated as a few people asked them to leave the investigations for the appropriate authorities.

According to police reports, detectives are still waiting for fingerprint and forensics tests on the body, as they shared that the remains of the body was discovered after Fahim’s sister had put out a distress call to the police after not hearing from her brother in a day.

The police also noted that an elevator surveillance camera may have caught the victim’s last moments as it shows Fahim getting into the elevator Monday, followed quickly by a second man, dressed in a suit, wearing gloves, a hat and a mask over his face.
