Reactions as Hushpuppi and bestie, Woodberry are extradited to the US

Internet sensation, Ramon Igbalode Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi and Olalekan Jacon Ponle a.k.a Mr Woodberry has been extradited to the United States following their detention and arrest in Dubai. Following the updates of the event, Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the news as many are sharing mixed feelings as it concerns the duo.

It was gathered that the Dubai police handed the case to the US FBI for further investigation and prosecution of the internet fraudsters. Recall that there had been reports earlier that suggested that Hushpuppi would be extradited in Nigeria. When it was shared, many people pointed out their reservations on that idea, however, many are sharing their excitement that the socialite would be extradited in the US.

Other users commended the foreign authorities in their swift actions in bringing the suspect to the point where they are now as they went further to compare these authorities with the Nigeria Police and The EFCC.

According to many Twitter users, the extradition of the suspects meant that it was the final stop of their freedom and identity as they shared examples of criminals in the past that had been extradited in the past and what fate had befallen them. Other Twitter users, however, advised people who are also defrauding people on the internet that a day of reckoning awaits them all.
