A passenger filmed on board a Air Niugin flight allegedly refusing to disembark the flight has been identified after an investigation into the incident by the National Airport Corporation team.

According to a statement released by NAC, the incident occurred on Saturday 29th July at 1835L regarding an intoxicated passenger who was removed from the cabin of PX 107, a B737 aircraft call-sign PXC.

The intoxicated passenger came to the counter to check in to catch the last flight out of Nadzab to Port Moresby.

PX check-in staff had already issued a boarding pass and upon noticing that he was an intoxicated passenger they withheld his boarding pass.
He was dealt with by the ground staff however he managed to get on the flight.
