Work on the Palmalmal to Malakur road in the rural Pomio district has commenced.
The road will connect the Pomio district headquarters at Palmalmal to Malakur ward and other villages in the Central Inland Pomio LLG.
ENB Governor Michael Marum and Pomio MP Elias Kapavore officially commissioned the road.
Pomio MP Elias Kapavore said this is a move to connect Kokopo to the rural settlements in the South Coast corridor.
