They will complete other subjects in the exam this week.

Headmaster Barum Rongi said it is the first for the students to sit for the grade 8 exam.

He said the school started in 2020 with two classes – grade 3 and 4.

He said in 2021, it started grade 4 and made a huge jump to 6.

Mr Rongi said in 2022 it took grade 7 and grade 8 this year.

He said the school made a huge jump compared to nine other schools set up at the same time. These students, he said, are the pioneer Grade 8s of Waghi Wan.

“As headmaster I will never forget my students doing their exam. It is an experience that I will still remember for the rest of my life,” he said.
