PRIME Minister James Marape has confirmed his attendance for the country’s inaugural Papua New Guinea-Asia Investment Conference in Hong Kong on the 16th of October 2023, where he will give his keynote address to mark the opening of the two-day investment conference.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by his government ministers who will also use the opportunity to market the multitude of investment opportunities and potential trade collaborations with PNG.
The Hong Kong Conference is PM Marape’s first stop on his State visit to China as a guest of President Xi Jinping to attend the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing.
