PNG Power National Office in Port Moresby has been impacted by a circuit breaker failure which has affected power supply into the building.
The statement from acting Chief Executive Officer Nehemaia Naris was sent early this morning.
He said all non-essential staff have been asked to work from home and the Executive Management team,
essential / rostered staff and the operations team are all working as normal in Port Moresby and right across the country.
“Easipay vending services and the SCADA system is not impacted, however, if there are any changes, we will notify all customers and the general public.”
“The National Call Centre is in operation but limited to phone calls only.
Our technical teams are now working to ensure the power supply to the National Office is restored today.”
