Soldiers undergo catering training

Soldiers from the PNG Defence Force have commenced training with IPI Catering service this week in Port Moresby.

The second batch of the soldiers are undergoing training on kitchen operations.

IPI Catering known for its exceptional food service and commitment to quality, has assumed the role of facilitator in this training.

This is under the expert guidance of IPI Catering National Training Coordinator Nanai Sere, stating that the officers will be trained for four weeks.

The curriculum covers the foundations of food safety to the art of creating delectable menus.

He said the soldiers will gain practical, hands-on experience in the kitchen, refining their cookery techniques and developing a profound appreciation for cooking.

This collaboration highlights the commitment of both entities that elevate the cooking skills of these soldiers.

IPI Catering, the official Caterer to the PNGDF, remains dedicated to serving the PNGDF and continues to strengthen its role as a pivotal partner, bringing culinary expertise and excellence to the forefront of military training.
