China’s leading construction Machinery Company Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group has been announced as a Platinum Sponsor of PNG Asia Investment Conference that will be held in Hong Kong on 16-17 October, 2023.
Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) is the third largest construction machinery company in the world.
It is ranked 65th in the list of China’s Top 500 Companies, 44th in the list of China’s Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, and 2nd in the list of China’s Top 100 Machinery Manufacturers and has more than 70 years of experience in supplying machinery around the world.
Recently launched and established in PNG, XCMG has been at the forefront with road and construction business in partnership with the PNG Government as well as supplying machineries to companies in the mining, oil and gas sectors and has quickly acquired market share in PNG.
Hosted by the PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum under the theme ‘Partnership for Prosperity’, the PNG-Asia Investment Conference will take place at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong.
With registration numbers and sponsorship takers picking up, the conference is expected to draw full attendance from representatives of some of the largest investment houses and organisations in China and other Asian markets, as well as business and government leaders from PNG.
PNG Prime Minister James Marape is opening the conference and senior ministers will be attending the Conference, as part of the first leg of PM Marape’s state visit to China to attend the Belt and Road Forum in Beijing later in the week.
The PNG Asia Investment Conference will showcase the strong and enduring success of Asian investment into PNG, the robust trade linkages between Asia and PNG and particularly delving into how PNG is actively catalysing the growth of Asian investments through its energy sector and other export avenues.
