Alden Richards recalls working with Kathryn Bernardo
Asia’s Multimedia star Alden Richards said that he has no issue with Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla and primetime action star Coco Martin.
To recall, Alden did a movie with Kathryn Bernardo, the girlfriend of Daniel. The movie Hello, Love, Goodbye was a big hit in 2019. This is now considered the top-grossing Pinoy film.
It is known to many that it was the first project of an adult Kathryn outside of her loveteam with Daniel.
Just recently, it was announced that Alden Richards will be doing a movie with Julia Montes, the girlfriend of Coco Martin. In a recent interview on talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, based on the article in The Philippine Star, the Kapuso actor admitted that he feels pressured to exceed the success that HLG had.
He is co-producing his movie Five Break-Ups and a Romance with Julia and with the success of his previous movie with Star Cinema, this somehow put pressure on his shoulder.
On the other hand, Alden expressed that he is confident with Julia because he saw how talented she is. The actor also shared that he keeps on challenging himself when it comes to the acting projects that he does.
“Kung hihintayin ko pa ‘yung mga susunod na ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye,’ Mama Ogs, papa’no naman ‘yung ibang opportunities na pwede ko pang gawin? Ayoko naman pong i-limit ‘yung sarili ko kasi actor po ako eh. Parang ‘yun po talaga ‘yung food for my soul, pag-arte,” he said.
He also assured the fans that this movie is really good. Alden shared that this is a challenging movie for Julia because it is out of her comfort zone. He told her to carry the scenes and that he will be there to assist her.
The Kapuso actor said that the love scene did not take a second take. He also stressed that this is not “malaswa.” When asked if he has no issue with Coco, as Julia’s real-life partner, Alden said, “Supportive po si boss Coco natin.”
Alden Richards also said the same about Daniel Padilla. “Very supportive din naman si DJ nu’n. Wala naman din pong naging issue nu’n,” he said.
