Jumping rope patok sa 56 bansa

Dalawang bansa ang dumagdag na miyembro ng International Jump Rope Union (IJRU), na patuloy ang pag-angat ng popularidad dahil sa pagtataguyod sa disiplina na paborito nang pinaglalaruan hindi lang ng mga kabataan kundi pati na mga fitness buff sa may 56 ng bansa.

Ang dalawang bagong sumapi sa IJRU ay ang Italy at Chinese Taipei na gaya ng ‘Pinas ginagamit din ang sport bilang isa sa mga panlaban sa ngayon sa COVID-19.

Umangat ang Taiwan Kinetic Art Association (TKAA) mula sa pagiging IJRU observer patungo sa pagiging provisional member, habang binigyan din ng kagayang status ang Italian Federation of Acrobatic and Choreographic Sport (IFACS). (Lito Oredo)
