US military namudmod ng gamit kontra COVID

NAG-DONATE ang United States military ng COVID-19 vaccine cold storage units at intensive care unit (ICU) beds sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Papalo sa P2.075 million o $40,914 ang halaga ng itinurn over sa AFP General Headquarters, ayon sa US Embassy in the Philippines.

Pinangunahan ito nina Acting Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) David Gamble at AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Jose Faustino Jr.

“The AFP is grateful to the United States government for the donations, which will surely enhance our capacity to afford our military personnel and their dependents the best healthcare services that we can provide,” sinabi ni Faustino.

Nabatid sa US Embassy na ang donasyon ay bahagi ng mas malaki nilang pagtulong sa COVID-19 efforts sa Pilipinas.

“This is just another step in our long partnership as treaty allies that has been going strong for 70 years. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Philippines and the AFP in this fight against COVID-19,” ayon pa kay Gamble. (Kiko Cueto)
