BUY YOUR TICKET TO PARIS 2024 OLYMPICS – EOCGA

Mbabane – Paris 2024 Olympics trip open to all.

The Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) has encouraged individuals and corporates who are interested in attending the Olympics to get in touch with them urgently. EOCGA has said the global showpiece tickets were selling like hot cakes. EOCGA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Maxwell Jele said that the Local Organising Committee (LOC), ticketing and hospitality companies have sold eight million out of 10 million tickets, with only a few months to go before the event.

This was an update as of July in a Chef de Missions seminar held in France. “This tells us that the demand for the tickets is very high, and they might run out soon. So, we would like to make a call to interested parties to contact EOCGA as soon as possible,” he said. EOCGA looks to advise them on the steps they can take to secure tickets and hospitality packages with a lot of benefits to parties. Interested parties can contact their Marketing and Communications Officer Mkhulisi Dlamini at 7689 4520 or via email at mkhulisi.dlamini@eocga.org.sz.

Jele also said that EOCGA Vice President Zakhele Dlamini would be the Chef de Mission as he attended the seminar held two months ago.  He said Paris was on track with the preparations of the global Olympics showdown as far as venues and ticketing was concerned. The Paris 2024 games are scheduled for July 26 to August 11, 2024. They will feature 33 sports and 339 events, including four new sports codes: breakdancing, skateboarding, surfing and sport climbing.

The games are expected to attract millions of spectators from around the world, as well as showcase the culture and heritage of France. Meanwhile, it is only Eswatini Boxing Association (EBA) that has attended the Africa Paris 2024 Qualifiers. It sent Russia-based boxer Thabiso Dlamini, 2023 Eswatini Senior Sportsman of the Year Zweli Dlamini and Veliswa Magaya who all fell short of the dream.id.
