A woman in her 30s fell seven floors to her death in the early hours of this morning, as police launch a murder investigation and arrest a 52-year-old man.
The body was found by police outside Clarendon House in Hove, Brighton, at 5.53am, and she was declared dead at the scene.
The arrested man, who is being questioned by Sussex Police's major crime team, is reportedly known to the woman and has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Officers had also recently being in contact with the victim and 52-year-old man, meaning the case has also been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IOPC).
Pictures from the scene show a police line outside the house, with an officer standing guard. Bags that appeared to be from paramedics were also seen on the ground at the scene this morning.
A spokesman for Sussex police said: 'At 5.53am on January 18 police were called to after a woman believed to be in her early thirties was reported to have fallen to the ground from the 7th floor of the flats.
'She was sadly confirmed dead at the scene. The death is being investigated by detectives from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team and a 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.'
The case has also been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commisson (IOPC) as the victim and 52-year-old had recently been in contact with the police. (Scene this morning)
