Ntseki is a proponent of the 4-3-2-1 system, with three deeper-lying central midfielders and two attacking midfielders behind a sole striker. This might initially be bad news for wide man Pule Mmodi, who’s in the brink of a switch from Golden Arrows, and it could be better news for the likes of Keagan Dolly. This system will favour narrower creative players and only one number 9. That focal point in the attack could well be Ranga Chivaviro, if he seals a move from Marumo Gallants as is widely expected. Also, don’t forget about the talented number 10 Nkosingiphile Ngcobo who will be returning from injury. A great option to have. Like a new signing, even.

DOLLY STILL A CRUCIAL PUZZLE PIECE?
Keagan Dolly’s seniority in the side, as well as his adaptability to various roles in attack, will be invaluable for Ntseki. A natural link man between midfield and attack, the ex-Montpellier man is also a vital influence on talented teenager Mduduzi Shabalala. Meanwhile, Mduduzi Mdantsane’s technical security and cultured left foot could see him used in a more withdrawn midfield role, with Yusuf Maart and Samkelo Zwane behind him at its base.
