Traffic accident kills 2, injures 4 in Afghanistan’s Ghor

On Sunday, a traffic accident in Ghazni province, Afghanistan, resulted in two individuals’ deaths and injured four others in the Charsada district.

Abdul Rahman Badri, the spokesperson for Ghazni province’s security department, informed Khaama Press News Agency that the incident took place on Sunday in the village of Kotal Katak, Charsada district when a vehicle veered off the road and overturned.

As reported, one of the injured individuals, in critical condition, was transferred to the provincial hospital for medical treatment by security forces.

According to provincial officials, a traffic accident in Afghanistan’s Panjshir province resulted in one fatality and four injuries.

The incident occurred Thursday evening in the Tawakh district of Anaba, Panjshir province.

A Toyota Corolla veered off the road, overturning and colliding with a cement wall, leading to one fatality and four injuries.

The injured individuals were subsequently transported to an emergency hospital for medical treatment, with two of them being sent to Kabul due to the seriousness of their injuries.

Traffic accidents have seen a significant increase across the country, attributed to factors such as reckless driving, crowded roads, ageing vehicles, deteriorating road conditions, and a lack of compliance with traffic regulations.
