A second suspect in the armed robbery of a wholesale store has been charged.

Prosecutors allege that Tarrico Bowleg, 24, of Joan’s Heights, took part in the September 12 armed robbery of Restaurant Supply No. 2, which was robbed of $18,220.80.

Bowleg was not required to enter a plea to the charge when he made his first court appearance before Assistant Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain on Monday.

He was remanded to prison to await the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment that will send his case to the Supreme Court for trial.

Bowleg’s alleged accomplice, Jamaican national Wayne Smith, was remanded to prison after being charged with the robbery last week.
